Everton FC partners with TicketQuarter, renames suite

Everton Football Club has partnered with ticket selling company TicketQuarter, which is run by the Echo Arena Liverpool, to sell tickets from Liverpool city centre for the first time.
 
Fans of the city’s oldest club, with more seasons in the top-flight than any other team in England, will be able to buy match tickets for every home game during the 2012/13 season from the Queen Square box office. They can also continue to buy tickets online, on their mobile, over the phone or in person at the Goodison Park Box Office.
 
TicketQuarter has worked alongside the Everton ticketing team to install a real time connection into the Queen Square outlet. This will enable TicketQuarter to sell and print official Everton tickets for city centre customers.
 
“We continually strive to become easier to buy from and hope that the new facility will be used by our supporters, as well as a whole new group of fans who are taking in the very best that Liverpool has to offer, which of course, should include a trip to Goodison Park,” Chief Executive of Everton Football Club, Robert Elstone, said.
 
Echo Arena Liverpool launched TicketQuarter in April to provide an enhanced service for customers purchasing tickets for sport, music, comedy, theatre and arts, family entertainment and exhibitions for a variety of regional venues, together with tickets for Echo Arena Liverpool events.
 
Tim Banfield, Commercial Director of ACC Liverpool, home to BT Convention Centre and Echo Arena, said: “We sell tickets for more than 500 events across the North West and are pleased that Everton Football Club is the latest high-profile brand to come on board.”
 
In related news, the football club has renamed one of its biggest conference suites to commemorate one of the club’s “finest winning seasons”.
 
Goodison Park’s former Blues 100 suite now becomes the ’85 Lounge’ in memory of Everton’s First Division league title and 3-1 victory over Rapid Vienna 3-1 in Rotterdam to win the European Cup Winners Cup.
 
As part of a major refurbishment the 85 Lounge’s facilities have also been upgraded and the layout has been altered to maximise space and offer increased seating versatility.
 
In addition, the 1878 Brasserie Suite has been completely remodelled and now incorporates a glass-walled, breakout meeting room or buffet area, along with booth-style seating.
 
Goodison Park has a total of nine conference and events suites, which can cater for up to 300 people. Sodexo Prestige manages the conference and banqueting facilities at the stadium.
