The Chief Executive of low-cost airline EasyJet, Carolyn McCall OBE, has joined Birds Eye Iglo Group CEO, Martin Glenn, and Saatchi & Saatchi Strategy and Innovation Director EMEA, Andrezej Moyseowicz, as a keynote speaker at World Travel Market’s WTM Talk Business Series.
The WTM Talk Business Series, 8 November in the WTM Meridian Club lounge, will see each keynote speaker discuss issues and challenges of business in the current uncertain economic climate.
McCall was appointed EasyJet CEO in October 2010 from Guardian Newspapers. She improved the airline’s operations with passengers rising by more than 10 per cent in 2011 to 54.5m, making it the third largest no-frills airline in the world. While pre-tax profits for the year increased by 31 per cent to £248m.
The WTM Talk Business Series will be one of a number of events on the Thursday of WTM taking place on the exhibition floor at Excel London 5-6 November 2012. World Travel Market is introducing an extra Speed Networking Thursday event in an attempt to drive more industry business at its 2012 edition at Excel London in November 2012.
Moyseowicz will explain how through creative brand positioning travel businesses can rise above the current uncertainties. He will share secrets from some of his major clients including Toyota, T-Mobile, VISA Europe, Weight Watchers, pharmaceutical giant Novartis and Cadbury.
“All three have a wealth of business experience which can help WTM exhibitors, Meridian Club members and visitors in their businesses,” said Reed Travel Exhibitions Director for World Travel Market, Simon Press.
