Harrogate International Centre (HIC) has been awarded a health and safety accreditation for the fourth year running.
The International Organisation for Standardisation’s (ISO) 18001 accreditation rewards the centre’s commitment to controlling its health and safety risks, reducing the potential for accidents and improving overall permance.
The centre’s in-house catering partner, Kudos, gained the accreditation for the venue after passing the audit to show it has met the high standards in staff training and risk management.
“We are delighted to have received this acknowledgement,” says General Manger at the HIC, Ben Campbell. “It shows that we care about our staff, clients and guests, and to be side by side with the one per cent of UK business that have achieved this is something we are all proud of.”
