Following a strategic review, Universal WorldEvents has revealed a new vision and mission.

The business was formed from a merger between Universal Procon and World Events in March 2011.

The agency’s staff have since been consolidated at the company’s global head office in Ashby de la Zouch, Leicestershire.

The agency’s review process deployed a management tool known as the Denison Culture Survey. The company claims it provided key feedback into the organisation in areas such as its focus, the extent to which its strategy is known.

The internal review then evolved into a strategic review of the global events industry market factoring in the perspectives of all key stakeholders.

A recommitment to international focus and operational excellence, as healthcare expertise, already a major focus of the agency’s business, are major elements of the new vision.

MD Graham McIntosh says: “Our vision is “to be recognised as the leading international specialist, and partner of choice, in healthcare meetings and events.

“We wanted to encapsulate the outputs from the whole process in a clear and simple manner and produced a video outlining our mission statements and vision that can be found on our website”
