Assembley Rooms Edinburgh reopening event

Edinburgh’s iconic Assembly Rooms reopened 20 July following an 18-month, £9.3m refurbishment. With over 500,000 sparkling crystals, glowing gold leaf and half a tonne of Zoffany damask curtain fabric used in the project, the 18th century venue has undergone a transformation. Over 650 guests attended the launch reception which featured surprise pop-up entertainment by local artists and a welcome speech by Scottish comedian, Craig Hill.
