Seasoned Events, part of the Crown Group, has hosted over 450 guests at London’s Guildhall as part of the International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF) dinner to mark its 100th anniversary and the start of the athletics at the London 2012 Olympic games.

Guests at the banquet on 2 August, including Jacques Rogge, President of the International Olympic Committee Sebastian Coe, Chairman of the London Organising Committee of the Olympic and Paralympic Games honorary life VPs and past athletes, were treated to a tailor-made, British menu on the eve of athletics commencing.

Seasoned Events’ Executive Chef Adrian Booth and his team laid on a four-course meal featuring traditional ingredients with a modern twist, including seared fillet of Dexter beef and braised shin with shaved English asparagus and stilton bonbon, and Violet infused chocolate marquise served with wild raspberry meringue.

The food and events experts, who are the preferred caterer at Guildhall for events throughout the year, also served a centenary of salmon in celebration of the IAAF’s 100th anniversary this year.
