The organiser of charity and association exhibitions, CHASE and nfp technology, has announced the seminar programme and launched free online registration for its new exhibition, nfpevents.

Conference House says the new show will allow charity and association events professionals to explore the latest supply innovations, management techniques and supporting technology in the not for profit events sector. The exhibition will cover fundraising and membership events, from gala black tie receptions, outdoor events and charity challenges to membership conferences and AGMs.

Newly-announced seminars include ‘Risk Free Challenge Events’ by Simon Albert from Charity Challenge; ‘Technologies Affecting Attendee Behaviour’ by David Preston from Event Network; and ‘Negotiate Your Socks Off – How to Make Sure Your Events Budgets Go Further’ by Richard John from RJA GB.

Online registration company amiando and audio-visual innovators Smart AV have been confirmed as sponsors of the show, which aims to attract a footfall of up to 400 in its first year.

Delegates will also benefit from the opportunity to attend sister event nfp technology, which will run concurrently.

“As other funding streams slow down, events are becoming more important to charities and associations since they help to plug income and maintain donor and member relationships,” Exhibition Director Michael Webb says. “But not for profit events are highly competitive and managing them efficiently can be a real challenge.

“nfp events is a chance for events professionals to stay on top of trends in the sector, get the best deals from suppliers and explore all that’s new and innovative in their industry. We have had excellent early feedback from suppliers and delegates alike – so launching the online registration facility is an exciting moment for us.”

nfp events takes place 25 September 2012 at the Business Design Centre, Islington.
