Event management company, Grass Roots EventCom, has expanded its automotive team, based in Marlow.
Nigel Unwin has joined the company as Automotive Practice Lead, with Kirsty Beck and Laura King also arriving as Project Managers.
Unwin has over 20 years of experience in the sector, having started his career with Fiat, before moving on to be a key member of the management team that launched Daewoo into the UK before its merger with General Motors. At Kia Motors he held the position of Head of Events and Sponsorship responsible for launching five new models into the market, before becoming Marketing & Events Director at SsangYong. Most recently he was Marketing Manager UK & ROI for agricultural equipment manufacturer Case New Holland.
Director Warren Hillier said of the new appointments: “Nigel’s experience in brand management, product launches, promotions, events and travel incentives is a perfect fit with the requirements of our automotive clients. We are very excited that he, Kirsty and Laura have joined to help us build on our good first half to the year.”
