MCI Dublin launches hybrid MeetSmarter events

Event management company MCI Dublin has launched Meet Smarter, a hosted hybrid meeting design to target senior management in corporations and associations.
 
The event, in partnership with Failte Ireland and Kerry Convention Bureau, will take place in Killarney, Ireland, on 21 and 22 June 2012.
 
The inaugural MeetSmarter event is entitled: ’A new dawn in meetings: the future is hybrid’ and will focus on new meetings technologies. Experts from leading Irish digital communication agencies, including Mulley Communications, O’Leary Communications and Dot Dash, will demonstrate how new technologies can extend the reach and life cycle of meetings.
 
“MeetSmarter marries MCI Dublin’s strong legacy as professional meeting planners and our pioneering role in new event architecture and technology,” commented Padraic Gilligan, VP of Industry Relations at MCI.
 
Mark Egan, National Events Director at MCI Dublin, added: “Events, be they corporate meetings or association conferences, are no longer bound by time and space constraints. The opportunity now exists for three audiences to consume an event; the live audience, the online audience and the offline, post event audience.”
