Todd Architects, which delivered Northern Ireland’s £97m Titanic Belfast visitor attraction and venue, has secured two commissions in London following its opening new offices in Hammersmith.

The firm’s Belfast practice had overseen the successful delivery of the Titanic project. Now Irish developer, Ballymore, has commissioned Todd Architects to work on two major residential developments in London.

John Chapman, whose previous projects include the Printworks, Manchester, Heathrow Airport and Newcastle City Library, will head the new London office.

Paul Crowe, MD of Todd Architects, said: “With the property market in London and the south-east of England continuing to improve we’re keen to re-establish a physical presence in city and seek out new opportunities.”

“Titanic Belfast is a building which has made a major impression throughout the UK and Todd’s role as architect will hopefully also open plenty of doors,” Chapman added.
