The Delegate Management Services arm of the Grass Roots agency has been appointed to handle the registration process for The Skills Show, which takes place in November at Birmingham’s NEC.
It is a new contract secured following Grass Roots’ work completed on the Big Bang show.
The event is jointly supported by the Skills Funding Agency and the National Apprenticeship Service and shines a spotlight on further education, skills, and apprenticeships.
Around 100,000 visitors are expected over three days for a programme that includes showcases featuring students and learners from across the UK. Twenty-minute ‘Spotlight’ and ‘Have a Go’ sessions have been designed to provide insights into the world of skills.
The Skills Show Executive Director Ross Maloney said: “The show will provide a unique experience for people to try out different jobs and watch young people compete to be the best in their sector.”
Grass Roots Delegate Management Services MD Giselle Ripken, said: “It’s a joy to work on shows that not only play to our strengths, but that also provide a wonderful shop window for young people to both demonstrate their own skills as well as learning from others”.
