Park Plaza Leeds and Holiday Inn Regent’s Park have both undergone recent hotel upgrades.
Park Plaza Leeds will officially unveil its new refurbishment in July, which includes a full redesign of all 185 guest rooms and the creation of two new bedrooms, including a Penthouse suite situated on the 20th floor. It will feature Leeds’ first hotel waterproof television built into the end of the bath.
“This is an exciting time for Leeds with the Trinity development as well as the new Leeds arena, both scheduled for completion by 2013,” says GM of Park Plaza Leeds, Paul Rogers. “Park Plaza Leeds is committed to providing something different to stand out from the crowd. This refurbishment will bring Park Plaza back to the fore in terms of facilities and design.”
Updates to the hotels public spaces include the addition of an executive lounge.
Holiday Inn Regents Park recently unveiled its new reception and lobby after a £250,000 refurbishment.
The open-plan lobby includes a dedicated guest relations and concierge desk to keep check-in time to a minimum.
“The new look reception has been designed to have a greater impact on guests and ensure they have a relaxing and stylish experience,” says GM of Holiday Inn Regent’s Park, Simon Hall.
