Manchester Central Convention Complex has made three new appointments to its marketing team including the former Director of Business Development at Marketing Manchester.
Elizabeth Faulkner, from Marketing Manchester, takes up the position as Marketing Director and is joined by new recruit, Louise Jones as Marketing Manager, and the promotion of Gemma Spilling to Marketing Officer.
Jones also previously worked at Marketing Manchester and MIDAS, Manchester’s inward investment agency.
“Elizabeth and Louise bring with them an extensive understanding of what Manchester has to offer and a passion for the city, which makes them the ideal candidates to promote the fantastic offering we have here at Manchester Central,” says CEO of Manchester Central, Angie Robinson. “Furthermore, Gemma’s experience and knowledge of Manchester Central and its history will be invaluable in driving our values and ensure that people locally, nationally and internationally understand who we are.”
The recent three-year £30m redevelopment at Manchester Central Convention Complex was partly funded by the European Regional Development Fund.
