Great British Hospitality Incentive Week

Gearing up for the Diamond Jubilee, Venues Event Management and De Vere Hotels Resorts and Venues spent a week celebrating Great British Hospitality.

Gearing up for the Diamond Jubilee, Venues Event Management and De Vere Hotels Resorts and Venues spent a week celebrating Great British Hospitality. This incentive was run in order to come up with brand new innovative ideas, great value added solutions and well-crafted new ideas for numerous joint clients.

Employees at Venues Event Management were divided into teams for a week of competitions including; Bruce’s Price is Right, Cake Decorating, Mascot Making plus much more. The teams built up points over the week and were awarded additional points for creativity and innovation. Points were also awarded for any referrals made to the De Vere Venues that were received during the week. The winning team – Team Bellas – won themselves a team night away with a Summer BBQ at Latimer Place in Chesham Buckinghamshire.

The objective of the incentive week is to provide an environment to create innovative ways of working to ensure clients have an enjoyable conference/event at the venue. It is an opportunity for Venues Event Management employees to gain an understanding of exactly what suppliers have available in order to maximise their knowledge when recommending the venue to clients. If our staff don’t know what suppliers have available how can they recommend the venue to our clients?

It was held at Venues Event Management in Wanborough. All employees from Venues Event Management were taking part, over the week about 80 employees took part.
