Communications and events agency, Grass Roots Group, has recovered from its operating losses of 2010 with a record operating profit of £4.1m and a turnover of £300m in 2011, its latest financial results reveal.

Its Chairman, CEO and Founder, David Evans, says 2011 represented a “step back to the light of improving financial permance”.

The group, which celebrates its 32nd year in business in 2012, had a gross income of £72m in the same year with group net assets of £16.5m.

Evans says the group has a broad range of business activities centered on the improvement of corporate permance through communication, education, measurement, reward and events.

Clients include 65 of the globe’s top 100 brands serviced by wholly-owned enterprises from Beijing to Brazil.

“With the global family in excellent shape and clients wanting an ever increasing regional and global answer, the opportunities and the prospects belie the fragile impression that often besets media comment,” says Evans. “We have continued to invest in people and service product with our latest effort being the deployment with clients of the new ‘Inspire’ generation of Cloud-based applications in reward recognition and other vital connectivity needs.”
