CN’s international sister publication, Conference and Meetings World (CMW), has been awarded by the Canadian Tourism Commission (CTC).
CMW’s Deputy Editor Vikki Carley received a Canada Vision Award for her three-and-a-half years of coverage of the country through a series of features including coverage of the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver and city features including Toronto and Calgary.
CMW beat competition from C&IT and M&IT magazines, among others, to scoop the Media Partner Award at a dinner at Villa Kennedy, Frankfurt.
Other winners on the night were organiser Elsevier and event industry association Eventia for their work with the country.
CTC’s Susan Frei said: “The Canada Vision Awards honour our international clients, partners and media who all share a common vision to inspire the world to explore Canada.”
