The Westminster Collection (TWC) kicked off a 100-day countdown to the 2012 Olympics with a venue showcase, held at The Law Society on Chancery Lane.
The Spring Showcase was a free business-to-business networking event for all buyers of venue facilities. Sponsored by specialist event insurer Hiscox, with additional support from furniture and catering equipment supplier Thorns Group, florist Lavender Green, and event registration supplier Outstand, the showcase was expertly hosted in The Law Society’s neo-Georgian Common Room.
TWC Board Director, Robin Parker, of Church House Conference Centre said: “It’s the who you know’ logic of event planning.
“TWC’s Board has restructured the Collection, we go live this week with the launch of a new-look email newsletter and are looking to launch a new website in the Autumn especially for event buyers. We are also working hard to evolve the search and enquiry tools we provide to buyers, venues and suppliers alike,” said Parker.
The Westminster Collection has also this week activated a special Olympic Games inspired edition of The 2012 Conference and Events Venue Survey, conducted annually by The Westminster Collection, Unique Venues of London and The Conference Bench. A summary of the results of this survey will be published in coming months.
