The London & Partners networking event took place on Wednesday 7 March in the remix lounge at the Aloft London Excel. The networking reception was by invitation only, and invited guests included our 75 hosted buyers, attending from across UK, Europe and the USA whom we had brought over specially for a hosted buyer programme around Confex with fam trips across London.
Members of London & Partners, including our 16 stand partners at the show (Wembley stadium, Thomas Cook, QEII centre, London Transport Museum, The Troxy, Searcy’s, Emirates stadium, Chelsea FC, CCT Venues, The Brewery).
Guests who had attended the London Future Forum earlier that afternoon, which we co-hosted with the Mayor of London and Excel London were also invited to the event, which included the owners and senior directors of the UK’s top event agencies, and stakeholders of London (such as Imagination, RPM, Smyle, etc and the chairs of the event industry associations including ISES, Eventia, ESSA).
“We also extended the invitation to some of our London client base and in total we had 200 guests in attendance. It was a really successful evening, low key and informal after a hectic day at the show, and the cake pops were a hit,” says Head of Event Solutions and UK Sales for London & Partners, Zanine Adams.
