Wiltshire-based Venues Event Management has been appointed by Capgemini to fulfil all venue finding, training, meetings and event management services.
A recent review of its venue finding, training, meeting and event management requirements, led to the consultancy, technology and outsourcing services provider to award a strategic partner contract to VEM to deliver these services.
Capgemini employs 120,000 people in 40 countries and reported 2011 global revenues of €9.7 billion.
Roger Peters, Senior Purchasing Manager at Capgemini said of the contract award: “Venues Event Management impressed us with their previous experience and the scope of their service offering. They demonstrated they could provide us with measurable added value, savings, efficiency and choice. They also instilled us with confidence that they would put a strong focus on booker compliance which is of great importance to us. We are very pleased to begin our working relationship with them.”
