Corporate travel agency CT Business Travel has reported a 22.3 per cent rise in turnover despite what it says was tough trading conditions in the business travel sector.

Based in Tunbridge Wells, Kent, CT Business Travel says the growth was organic through new client wins.

“I am greatly encouraged with our businesses permance over the last two years, especially in light of a dismal economic climate, which we continue to battle against,” CT Business Travel’s MD Mark Kempster, said. “With that in mind we’re cautiously optimistic regarding 2012’s outlook and are looking at the potential of acquisitions to maintain our growth objectives.

“We also recognise that while the Olympics is a very positive major event for the UK, we are mindful of the impact it will have on corporate travel during and around that period,” he added.
