Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre (AECC) is to host the Offshore Wind and Supply Chain Conference and Exhibition for the second year. The specialist event held its 2011 edition at AECC and this year’s event will be opened by Scotland’s First Minister Alex Salmond.
This year the two-day conference takes place 31 January to 1 February 2012 and organisers expect 500 delegates to attend. Fifty exhibitors from the offshore industry will showcase their products alongside the conference sessions.
Brian Horsburgh, AECC’s Managing Director, said: “We are looking forward to welcoming the forthcoming conference and exhibition on Offshore Wind and Supply Chainback to AECC. This event is very appropriate as AECC is the National Energy Exhibition Centre, and I’m sure it will be an interesting event and the largest of its kind in Scotland.”
