Lighting industry conference and exhibition euroLED is moving to The NEC in Birmingham in the summer.

The ninth annual event will be held 13-14 June 2012 and is organised by Birmingham Science Park Aston (BSPA). This year organisers expect 2,000 visitors from 30 countries to attend the event, w hich will include a gala dinner.

In 2011, the event attracted 1,550 delegates and 100 exhibitors at Coventry’s Ricoh Arena.

“The space and flexibility on offer at the venue, combined with excellent national and international transport links, means that the conference and exhibition can accommodate the growing band of delegates who want to be first in line for news and information about LED and solid-state lighting,” said BSPA Events Manager Michelle Cleaver.

The euroLED conference will take place in the NEC’s largest conference space, the Concourse Suite.

“We are very pleased to be hosting such a prestigious event. EuroLED will bring innovations in technology to the heart of the events scene in Birmingham,” said The NEC’s New Business Account Manager Sarah Curtis.

“We will be delighted to assist in the expansion of one of the leading calendar events in this innovative industry.”
