Event industry association Eventia has signed up six new members recently including three large event agencies.

UK event agencies PowWow Events, Incentivise and Top Banana Communication join the Ipswich Borough Council, Warwick Conferences and Clipper Events in signing up to the association.

“It is encouraging, in these challenging times, that agencies and suppliers recognise that it is more important than ever that the industry should have a voice,” BSI Meetings and Events Director of Business Development and Co-Chair of Eventia Membership Committee, Paul Hussey, said. “This is reflected in the increased level of interest that we are receiving from a wide range of potential member companies, thus maintaining the membership diversity of the association and providing a voice for all walks of the industry.”

Eventia represents experiential marketing and communications agencies, conference and incentive travel organisers, permance improvement experts and corporate hospitality providers.

The association’s annual conference, Summer Eventia 2012, is set to be held at the Kings Place London, 23-24 April 2012.
