Nick de Bois, MP for Enfield North and Chairman of the All Party Parliamentary Group for Events, will head a discussion with key leaders within the events industry as part of the Britain for Events campaign.
The MP will jointly chair the event with Michael Hirst, Chairman of the Business Visits and Events Partnership.
The dinner, taking place on the 2 February 2012 in the Boardroom within De Vere Venues’ Holborn Bars property, will be a closed discussion further exploring how Members of Parliament and industry can work together to benefit the UK events industry.
“Britain for Events gives us the perfect opportunity to provide a coherent voice to local and national government,” said Hirst. “In Nick we’re fortunate to have an MP that both understands the industry and is willing to listen to senior personalities about the key measures the government could take to ensure the industry’s growth”.
“It was great to see so many people at the launch of Britain for Events, all keen to give their opinion on how industry and government can work better together,” said Nick De Bois. “The aim of the dinner is to listen to key representatives across the UK events industry so the All Party Parliamentary Group for Events can look at ways to develop and support this important industry.”
