Travel company, Abercrombie and Kent, have launched a new ‘In-Transit City Sightseeing Tours and Experiences’ service and are targeting business travellers with a few hours to spare.
The tours are part of the company’s recently launched Airport Concierge service, which covers 350 airports worldwide.
Business travellers can now request a private guide to take them on a sightseeing tour of the city or provide them with an interesting experience in just a few hours, such as a gourmet tour in Paris or a cultural adventure in Rio.
“Why whittle away the hours sitting in the airport or in your hotel when you could be experiencing what the city has to offer?” said Chief E-Commerce Officer for Abercrombie and Kent, Stuart Nassos. “We can tailor an experience based on personal interests and the amount of time available. These new services are also ideal for business travellers who want to maximise their journey at the beginning or end of a business trip and only have a few hours to spare.”
All tours include return transfers to and from the airport or city destination. Ideas include spending a morning with a Paris food expert visiting some of the best food suppliers in the city; experiencing a traditional tea ceremony in Beijing; climbing Table Mountain in Cape Town and finding out why vessels run into trouble around the Cape of Good Hope.
