The Meetings Industry Association (mia) is to run a series of events in April focused on ways to help secure new business.
The ‘Customer Focus: The key to securing more business’ workshop on 10 April at Ansty Park, Coventry, is designed to highlight how to identify a client’s requirements and buying motivations.
Delegates will hear from Philip Cripps, chief executive of Thameside International, how to improve their listening and notetaking skills to ensure they capture essential information to ensure client expectations are met.
Meanwhile, Lee Ali, founder and managing director of Expo Stars Interactive, a global trade show performance agency, will be running a masterclass, 30 April at Elm Grove Conference Centre, London, on how to optimise exhibiting at trade shows, conferences and seminars.
