Kent Event Centre is to host Craig David with Rita Ora for a night of musical collaborations on 31 August 2018.
The concert is one of three celebrity music event wins for the venue in 2018. Girl group Little Mix will play at the venue on 22 July and Grandslam 2018 featuring Simple Minds, The Pretenders and KT Tunstall will take place on 4 August.
Kent Event Centre’s deputy event centre manager, Ellie Nicholl, said: “Kent Event Centre lends itself perfectly to music events of this kind. We are really excited to welcome so many big names to our venue for what we are sure will be a trio of fantastic music events.”
While Kent Event Centre has won a range of new events in 2018, it has also seen growth in repeat business this year, with a multitude of event organisers renewing their contracts. The Rise 4 Disability Exhibition, Build It Live, Maidstone Tattoo Extravaganza, Glow in the Park 5k Run Create it featuring Hochanda and the FFX Toolshow have all rebooked for 2018.
Kent Event Centre manager, Alison Wallington, adds: “The versatile nature of the venue offers the flexibility to attract a whole host of events from concerts to trade exhibitions and conferences, charity events and teambuilding to large consumer shows, no two days are ever the same at the venue and we relish the challenges these events bring with them. We look forward to welcoming our clients back in 2018 and for many years to come.”
