Event industry networks EWL Club, EventHuddle, Event Planners Talk, Future in 15 Show and Elevate have joined forces to launch The Annual Exchange 2018.
The new annual one-day event being will take place on 19 July at the Vox Conference Centre at Resorts World Birmingham. Delegates attending will choose the entire content of the ‘un-conference’.
Topics put forward by attendees at registration will be pulled together and presented in the planned format of an innovation suite featuring expert panels and thought-leaders; knowledge suites featuring educational and topical debates, discussion and workshops. There will be a networking lounge featuring an event, venue, supplier, freelancer and influencer hour, and a mentoring lounge where attendees can sit down with event industry mentors and advisors to discuss specific business challenges and problems.
Attendees will all receive their own personalised agendas and will also be able to spend time relaxing in-between sessions in a wellbeing and chill out lounge managed by EventWell, the social enterprise and educational resource for wellbeing in the events industry.
An evening social and awards party will follow the daytime event to celebrate three years of business for EWL Club, and recognise the outstanding contributions and achievements of the industry over the past 12 months in regard to sustainability, wellbeing and talent development within events.
One of the organisers, EWL Club founder Helen Moon, said: “This is a really exciting event and the first un-conference of it’s kind for event professionals.”
