The Unique Venues Birmingham (UVB) marketing consortium has won two awards, including being the UK Winner of the 2017 Event & Conference Top 50 by Corporate Vision magazine. That award recognises excellence offered at venues and companies across the globe with regards to corporate and business-related events.

Suzanna Reid, UVB’s commercial director said: “We’re thrilled to receive the prestigious UK Winner award of the Event and Conference Top 50. The award acknowledges the team’s dedication to providing our corporate and business clients with the highest level of customer service when it comes to events and conferences.”

UVB launched on 1 October 2017 and offers combined conferencing and hospitality opportunities within one of the UK’s iconic buildings, the Library of Birmingham, and one of the UK’s most creative theatres, Birmingham Repertory Theatre.

The first four months of operations have seen UVB deliver 400 events for major brands, including Microsoft, Humanoids 2017 (a global robotics conference) and The Council of Aluminium.

This month UVB was also awarded with an AIM accreditation by the Meeting Industry Association.

UVB has also unveiled a new film that showcases all that the venue has to offer.
