Venues and Events International, the Swindon-based agency run by Anita Lowe, has created a new Account Management division to sit alongside its expanding agency services.
The new division will give clients an even more personalised service and complements the agency’s existing offers of venue finding, event management, conference planning and production.
James Kent and Steve Schwartz have joined Venues and Events International as its first two dedicated account directors.
They both bring a wealth of experience to a range of agency clients including QinetiQ, BP, Allied Bakeries, Priory Group and MAN UK Truck & Bus.
Kent joins Venues and Events International from Capita Travel and Events, while Schwartz spent six years with Q Hotels.
“I’m thrilled we’re now able to offer our growing list of clients an even more personalised account management service,” said Venues and Events International chief executive, Anita Lowe. “2018 has got off to a fantastic start with some exciting projects, plus we’ve welcomed six new team members to the Venues and Events International family.”
Schwartz said: “It’s an exciting time to be joining Venues and Events International as the agency has already developed a prestigious client list. I will be looking to grow this over the coming months as part of my remit, as well as giving existing clients a more personalised service.”
Other new recruits to Venues and Events International in 2018 include Alex Shipman as event manager, Olivia Unsworth as junior event manager, Nicola Reynolds as head of finance and Lynn Gammage as financial controller.
