The Scottish Event Campus (SEC) has appointed Lori Cobley as national associations sales manager.

Lori’s role will be to capitalise on her own relationships in the sector, to build on the existing partnerships within the SEC and generally to grow the venue’s conference business.

She brings over 10 years of experience across charities, not-for-profits and agencies. Previously, Lori worked at Mary’s Meals and MCI, including planning events at the SEC.

“We’re delighted to expand our association team,” said Kathleen Warden, director of conference sales. “Lori is a strong addition and brings a wide range of sector experience.”

Lori said: “As a planner I always admired the SEC. It’s great to have come full circle and now be part of the team.”

This year’s national association events at the SEC include the British Society for Haematology, British Society of Gastroenterology, and British Association of Dermatologists.
