The Business of Events reveals speakers for 2025 Global Policy Forum

The Business of Events has announced a line up of politicians, policymakers and industry figures for its signature Global Policy Forum.

RX Global is sponsoring this years forum which will take place at IET Venues Savoy Place on 1 April.

The forum aims to drive growth in the UK’s business events economy, featuring key speakers such as Shaun Davies MP chair of the All-Party Parliamentary Group for Events, Dame Caroline Dinenage DBE MP chair of the Culture, Media and Sport Select Committee, and Lord Daniel Finkelstein OBE, who will share insights on the political and economic landscape.

The forum will be moderated by reporter and broadcaster Trish Lynch and will also feature Senthil Gopinath, CEO of ICCA, on the economic impact of business events, and Neil Brownlee, chair of PCMA who will speak on policy-driven strategies.

Kerry Prince, RX Global UK MD, will discuss opportunities for the UK exhibition and trade show sector, while a session moderated by VisitBritain’s Paul Black will explore the evolving role of Convention Bureaux.

Mickael Benaim of SFA Connect will examine how destinations are adapting to economic and political shifts, before a closing keynote from Dame Caroline Dinenage DBE MP.
