Searcys, one of the UK’s oldest event caterers, has welcomed The Honourable Society of Gray’s Inn to its portfolio of London venues and will provide catering services as a partner from January 2025.
The Inn has been home to lawyers since before 1388. Today it is one of the four Inns of Court responsible for the education and training of barristers before and after their Call to the Bar.
Gray’s Inn is situated just off Chancery Lane in Holborn offering a central location in the City of London.
The venue offers event spaces, available for a wide range of corporate and private events all year round.
The menus, curated by Searcys’ executive chef Richard Oxley, have been designed with Searcys’ belief and standard of ‘Food with Finesse’—a celebration of fresh British ingredients and reimagined classic dishes, all with wellbeing as a key focus.
Additionally, Searcys will cater hall lunches at the venue with a traditional buffet of hot dishes.
The Bridge Bar will feature a refreshed menu and events led by Searcys’ head of champagne and wine and executive chefs.
In summer, the outdoor marquee will host seasonal parties, weddings, and special occasions.
Paul Jackson, managing director at Searcys, said: “We are proud to partner with Gray’s Inn and are excited to introduce Searcys hospitality to Chancery Lane. We look forward to welcoming you in the new year.”
