EDGE Venues has announced the appointment of Anthony Guy as technical director.

The newly created role will see Guy lend his expertise to the company on a part-time basis, underscoring EDGE Venues’ commitment to enhancing its capabilities in technology solutions and evolving use of AI.

Guy brings over 15 years of experience in developing and delivering IT solutions, coupled with a decade of business consulting for major corporations, including VW Group, BT, Unite Students and Asda Walmart.

His unique ability to bridge the gap between technical expertise and business needs has been a hallmark of his career.

Most recently, Anthony has successfully launched multiple commercial SaaS products, demonstrating his keen understanding of the evolving tech landscape.

Guy said: “My passion has always been to connect technology with people, ensuring that the tools we create are as intuitive as they are impactful.

“With EDGE’s strong foundation in the meetings and events sector, I look forward to contributing to the development of innovative solutions that meet the needs of both the business and its users.”

In his role, Anthony will focus on leveraging AI and other advanced technologies to deliver seamless and efficient solutions for EDGE Venues’ users. His expertise in communication, change management and people-centric approaches will play a pivotal role in aligning technological advancements with the company’s broader business objectives.
