The Business of Events has unveiled the focus of its Global Policy Forum, which is set to return in February 2025.

Focusing on unlocking the potential and driving the growth of the business events economy, the forum, now in its seventh year, will see senior industry leaders, policymakers, and stakeholders unite on 20 February at IET London: Savoy Place.

The forum will provide space and time to examine the current economic and political climate and review the latest UK policy developments affecting the events sector.

Mike Fletcher, director of news & content at The Business of Events, said: “There have been significant changes to the political landscape since our last Global Policy Forum took place in late 2023. Our Forum will provide the perfect platform to bring together leading industry figures, key stakeholders and policymakers to share insight and knowledge while further exploring our Policy Agenda that is designed to move the UK event economy forwards.”

The Global Policy Forum, which will also be attended by members of the recently reformed All-Party Parliamentary Group for Events, is an invitation-only event, but delegates can register their interest to attend here. The full programme will be published on 1 February.

More information on supporting the Global Policy Forum as well as the annual Westminster Dinner that will be held on Wednesday, 19 February, is available here.
