Scottish annual gathering of meetings and event profs, EVENTIT is set to host a new style event which, organisers say, will break away from traditional trade show formats.
EXPERIENCEit 2025, will take place, 4–5 February 2025 in Edinburgh, running over two days for the first time.
This year’s event will replace the usual trade show model and event director at EVENTIT Judith Wilson, said: “Instead of long aisles of booths and education sessions tucked into the corner of the hall, we’re creating an immersive, interactive live experience aimed at fostering creativity and meaningful engagements.
“It’s not just about showcasing products; it’s about collaboration, community and inspiring the future of the industry.”
Day one will take place at The Caves, focusing on industry leadership and vision through panel discussions and collaborative workshops.
A task-led workshop, moderated by Kim Myhre, managing partner of Experience Designed, will explore key themes such as technology, inclusivity, and sustainability, culminating in the exclusive report Event Industry Leaders Imagine the Future.
Day two will take place at Brewhemia, delivering a mix of experiential activations, wellness sessions, and informal networking opportunities.
Attendees will benefit from five TED-style keynote talks led by thought leaders in brand experiences, immersive activations, and entertainment, providing innovative insights.
Wellness will be a key focus of the event, with sessions by expert Sarah Hunt, a quiet zone for relaxation, and Disco Yoga.
Throughout the two-day event, participants can connect with exhibitors during an interactive supplier showcase featuring independent Scottish suppliers, and have one to one meetings with major hotel brands, AV companies, and event tech providers.
Networking will take on a fresh approach with app-based challenges offering prizes and incentives, and the event will conclude with live entertainment from Song Division.
EXPERIENCEit is now in its second year after replacing the EVENTIT annual showcase in 2024.
Registration for a limited supply of early bird tickets closes on 20 December.
