FastForward15 has announced its inaugural Mentoring Awards, set for 24 April 2025—the first event of its kind dedicated to celebrating excellence in mentorship.
This celebration will recognise exceptional mentors, mentees, corporate teams, agencies, and suppliers who have significantly contributed to the growth and development of talent within the events and hospitality sector.
Open to all genders and organisations across the industry, including in-house corporate event teams, the awards aim to highlight the transformative impact of mentorship.
The FastForward15 Mentoring Awards will include a three-course dinner, an awards ceremony, and networking opportunities, while also raising vital funds for two key industry initiatives:
- FastForward15 Mentoring Programme – A not-for-profit, award-winning scheme founded by Fay Sharpe OBE to support the events and hospitality industry by boosting the careers of upcoming female event professionals through mentorship with industry leaders. Now in its tenth year, the programme continues to empower women within the sector.
- FF15 University Challenge – A programme designed to bridge the gap between education and industry employment. It equips students with essential project management, creativity, and networking skills to prepare them for successful careers in the events and hospitality industry.
The event’s partner, The Mermaid London, will host the FastForward15 Mentoring Awards in the River Rooms.
