BAFTA award-winning journalist Lucy Meacock will moderate the Meeting Industry Association’s (MIA) annual miaSummit, taking place in Liverpool in November.
Best known for her work in the North West of England as a main anchor of the ITV regional news programme Granada Reports, the broadcaster will complete the line up of experts who are set to inspire leaders through a series of topical discussions.
Areas to be covered throughout the day include an opening keynote by leading AI strategist and consultant Katie King, before behavioural scientist Lea Karam leads a session on how human complexities can drive healthier commercial and people outcomes.
Additionally, futurist Simon Stenning will reveal the latest intel on food and beverage while professor Paul McGee will lead a motivational session to help attendees achieve better results in work and life.
MIA chief executive, Kerrin MacPhie, said: “The miaSummit is our flagship annual conference with a pedigree stretching back more than a decade. The miaSummit 2024 runs from 9am to 4.30pm and will precede the miaList awards ceremony which will also be held at Hilton Liverpool City Centre on the evening of 7 November.
