-45dB, sound-reduction specialists, and Excel London have announced a new multi-year strategic partnership.
As part of a continued initiative by Excel to further enhance its offering to organisers and exhibitors, the new collaboration presents -45dB’s pillar-free and sustainably-built soundproof spaces, helping to overcome the challenge of creating high-quality conference and meeting spaces in the heart of a busy event floor.
Offering up 45 decibels of sound reduction, the modular systems come in a variety of sizes from an intimate, confidential meeting place in the standalone pods, through to theatres for up to 180 seated guests.
With -45dB’s commitment towards a net zero future, the modular construction has unique sustainability credentials compared with custom built solutions and allows for a faster installation and de-rig than traditional builds.
Additionally, the sound reduced meeting rooms and pods can be fully branded, complete with air-conditioning, and in-built power outlets.
Simon Mills, Excel’s chief commercial officer, said: “As London’s largest event venue, we understand the growing demand on organisers and exhibitors to deliver even more value for their visitors and to curate the very best environment, experiences and networking opportunities.”
He added: “Partnerships is one area we’re continually investing in to help achieve this from catering and AV, through to stand design and logistics. With -45dB, their innovative sound-reduced rooms will help redefine event and exhibition spaces, ensuring an immersive and distraction-free experience for guests, and we’re delighted to welcome them to the Excel family.”
Together with -45dB, Excel has recently enhanced its exhibitor offering with new partnerships including Standbuilder.co.uk – provider of modular and hybrid-modular exhibition stands – and production agency, Eclipse.
