Western Business Media (WBM) is set to expand its presence at Coventry Building Society Arena, hosting six major conferences, exhibitions, and award ceremonies throughout the second half of 2024. The move highlights the arena’s role as a strategic venue in the Midlands.
B2B event organiser WBM will introduce three new conferences at the arena this year: Security Matters Live, Health and Safety Matters Live, and the Industrial Maintenance Solutions Summit. These events will join an already full schedule of sector-leading conferences and exhibitions hosted by WBM at the venue.
Mark Sennett, CEO of Western Business Media, said the venue’s location and facilities were key factors in their decision to expand. “Coventry Building Society Arena is in the heart of the country, easily accessible for our delegates, and perfect for events where we seek to bring together professionals from across the country,” he said. “We have a strong working relationship with the team at the venue, and they work alongside us to deliver stellar events for our audiences.”
The partnership between WBM and Coventry Building Society Arena began in 2021, with over 20 successful events hosted since then. The first event of the year, Fire Safety Matters Live, will take place on Wednesday, June 12, attracting more than 600 guests. This leading conference in the fire safety industry will culminate in the prestigious Fire and Security Matters Awards, celebrating industry achievements with 800 attendees.
Security Matters Live, debuting at the venue on 13 June, will transform the arena into a hub for the security industry. The following week, on 20 June, Tomorrow’s Warehouse will gather logistics professionals to explore the latest trends in modern warehousing. Health and Safety Matters Live will wrap up a busy June with an event on Thursday, June 27, featuring over 30 exhibitors and expected to draw more than 500 attendees.
The Industrial Maintenance Solutions Summit, scheduled for 10 September, will offer practical solutions for maintenance engineers. Finally, the year will close with The Cleaning Excellence Conference and Awards in December.
