Nominations for the 2024 miaList are now open, as the Meetings Industry Association (mia) prepares to highlight the sector’s talent for the 13th consecutive year.
The association was founded by a group of hotel and conference centre operators and booking agents.
Celebrating inspirational individuals, teams and initiatives in the UK meetings industry, the miaList gives event professionals an opportunity to gain a place on the roll of honour.
Three new categories have been added to this year’s miaList including best initiative, event of the year and campaign of the year, which will be presented during a ceremony being held at Hilton Liverpool city centre on 7 November 2024.
Returning titles include the team of the year awards for those in events and operations, sales and marketing, as well as those representing destinations.
The miaList remains free to enter with nominations welcome from anyone working within, or associated with the UK’s business meetings and events industry, with the exception of the individual titles which are exclusive to mia members.
Nominations will be assessed by an expert panel of judges spanning various sectors. For all team and initiative awards, there will also be an additional judging stage in which those shortlisted by the panel will be subject to a public vote.
