De Vere Wokefield Estate in Berkshire continues to expand following its £20m refurbishment of the property, which was completed in 2018, with aims to invest in its leisure offering.
De Vere Wokefield Estate, set on 250 acres of parkland, offers a variety of events from large corporate gatherings and golf breaks to weddings. The estate features 39 meeting and conference rooms distributed between Wokefield Place and the Mansion House, accommodating diverse event needs.
The estate is diversifying its family and leisure offerings to enhance meeting and events with plans to add paddle tennis courts, family lodges, a spa, gym, and bowling alley.
Included in its 2018 refurbishments were De Vere’s public spaces, bedrooms, and newly opened ‘The Summerhouse’ and adjoining summerhouse café with seating areas and a children’s play area.
Additionally, De Vere has opened its doors to newly refurbished smart space named ‘The Hub’ a suite with seven meeting rooms available for 6 to 70 people with a dedicated lounge including coffee, refreshments station and the latest IT audio visual facilities making it perfect for any meeting or conference.
The meeting rooms at De Vere Wokefield Estate range from Wokefield Suite, Terrace Suite, The Lincoln, a converted chapel, The Palmer Suite, The Old Lounge, or the latest newly refurbished space, The Whisky Lounge. The capacities for the rooms are 500 for theatre, 300 for banquet and 200 for classroom.
