Crowne Plaza Manchester Airport takes flight again after £8m refurb

The Crowne Plaza Manchester Airport Hotel has opened its doors to showcase the first phase of an £8m refurbishment to its public spaces and 299 bedrooms. 

A new open lobby with allows visitors to work, socialise, or relax and the reception area has been redesigned. 

For guests checking in ahead of an early morning flight, 24hour room service is available. 

Matt Byram, general manager for the Crowne Plaza Manchester Airport Hotel commented: “I’m delighted to welcome guests back to the hotel and to introduce our new and improved facilities after this mega refurbishment…and there is even more to come with a new Club Lounge and stand-alone restaurant on the way. The new facilities will also appeal to Manchester airport and business locals as well as networking groups as a great place to meet and connect.”

The Crowne Plaza Manchester Airport Hotel is located next to all three Terminals. Trains to Manchester city centre take 20 minutes and the M56 motorway is close by. The hotel offers an airport shuttle service as well as Park, Stay & Fly Packages with 320 car park spaces available. 

Additional facilities at the hotel include a 24hour Fitness Centre and eight versatile meeting rooms with a dedicated on-site co-ordinator. Guests can host meetings or events for two to 70 people and enjoy use of the Business Centre. 

The hotel is also part of IHG Green Engage which means it is Eco-certified.
