OpenAI, the creator behind ChatGPT, has announced its augural developer conference. The event is set to take place on 6 November.
According to organisers, ‘DevDay’ will be a one-day conference featuring a keynote, expert speakers, and breakout sessions led by OpenAI’s technical staff. A blog post by OpenAI said that the event will showcase “new tools and exchange ideas”, with more information to come in the future.
The Conference follows the 2023 breakout of ChatGPT into the AI market, launching OpenAI as an AI thought leader. This popularity has led to quick profits and household-name company investors, with the developer reportedly on track for $1b profits in 2024 and investors including Microsoft, Reid Hoffman, and others.
