Events By Amadeus secures three-year contract with Birmingham venue

Events By Amadeus, the arm of national catering company, Amadeus, has secured a three-year contract with IET Birmingham: Austin Court.

The contract has been achieved as a result of the team’s longstanding relationship with the venue of over 15 years.

Akmal Shahzad, Venue Manager for IET Birmingham, Austin Court, said: “The Events by Amadeus team has continued to exceed our needs and expectations with our dedicated account manager and inherent flexibility across each of our event operations.  

“This, alongside a shared passion to for high-quality hospitality, delicious food and innovative concepts made them the ideal partner once again. We look forward to sharing our exciting new menus with visitors this summer.”   

With a focus on sustainability, local sourcing is a key part of Amadeus’ ethos, with 80% of food and beverage suppliers located within a 30-mile radius of the venue. This aims to ensure the food is fresh and environmentally friendly with reduced food miles, emissions, and carbon footprint. 

Kevin Watson, managing director of Amadeus, added: “We are proud of the relationships we develop, not just in the Midlands, but across the UK which is testament to the team’s hard work and dedication to our venue partners.”

The news follows the announcement of its three-year contract with the Coventry Transport Museum.
