Center Parcs Conferences and Events has announced it will refurbish its conference and events venue at Sherwood Forest.
Closing its doors on 12 May 2023, ‘The Venue’ is set to reopen in Winter 23/24 following a multi-million pound investment.
Located in 400 acres of forest, The Venue can host events for up to 550 delegates. Once reopened, it will be equipped with additional break out rooms, as well as a larger outdoor space and welcome area.
Julia Green, sales and commercial manager, Center Parcs Conferences and Events, said: “Since reawakening our conference and events offering last autumn, we’ve seen a healthy appetite for corporate events translate into a large influx of booking enquiries for both our venues.
“This has certainly played a key role in Center Parcs’ decision to pursue a major transformation at Sherwood Forest.”
The news follows the relaunch of Woburn Forest in Autumn 2022.
