The Association of Colleges (AoC) has announced it has contracted the ICC Birmingham for a further three years, having celebrated over 20 years of holding its annual conference and exhibition at the venue.
Having hosted the event since 2001, the ICC is set to welcome 1,200 delegates from 14-15 November.
The AoC is a national voice for further education, sixth form, tertiary and specialist colleges in England.
The event brings together AoC’s national membership base to hear from speakers from within and outside the sector, providing insight, with new opportunities to learn and develop practical solutions to the challenges being faced.
Jordan Whittington, account director, associations at the ICC, said: “The 2023 conference will take advantage of the Hall One auditorium, the venue’s largest space, as well as Hall Three and Executive Rooms for fringe events.”
Rachel Almeida, head of events, training and sponsorship at AoC, commented: “As we’re supporting colleges from across the country, they require a venue that is easily accessible, with plentiful space for both our conference and exhibition.
“The ICC perfectly meets these requirements, also providing enough areas for delegates to move around without us losing that atmosphere and community feel our delegates come here for.”
