Robert Kenward, industry recruiter and founder of EventHub.Jobs, has launched a new vodcast titled ‘Side of The Desk’.
The ‘Side of the Desk’ vodcast will be a monthly 45-minute interview with a key industry figure to discuss their career; including questions asking about how they got started in the industry, their proudest moments and the career advice they would give newcomers.
Commenting on the launch, Kenward said: “Recruitment impacts us all and we all have very differing experiences of it throughout our careers. The Side of the Desk vodcast will be an entertaining, informative and inspirational discussion, with each episode discussing the inevitable career ups and downs and will impart valuable advice to anyone looking to start or progress a career in the events industry.”
The first guest will be Miguel Neves, editorial director of Skift. The episode will be available on 27 October.
Each episode will be aired live via Kenward’s LinkedIn profile. Viewers/listeners will have the opportunity to interact and ask questions.
Episodes will then be available on on YouTube.
