Meet Leicester, the official conference bureau for Leicester and Leicestershire, will showcase its range of venues for corporate events, hospitality and meetings at CHS Birmingham, taking place at the International Convention Centre (ICC) on 1 November.
Meet Leicester offers a portfolio 60+ venues in the city and county for conference and meeting organisers. These include conference centres, contemporary boutique hotels, visitor attractions and sports stadia, all centrally located in the East Midlands, with direct trains to London St Pancras.
Sporting expertise
Leicester is known for its sporting expertise with both Leicester Tigers rugby and Leicester Riders basketball winning their respective league titles this year. The city is home to former Premier League and Hotel BrooklynFA Cup winners, Leicester City and Leicestershire County Cricket Club. These stadiums and grounds also conference facilities.
Adjacent to Leicester Tigers’ Mattioli Woods Welford Road Stadium is the new 191-room Hotel Brooklyn that opened in July 2022, offering spaces for corporate hospitality.
Other sporting venues in Leicestershire include Leicester Racecourse and on Loughborough University campus, the Elite Athletes Centre and Hotel is one of four hotels and conference spaces which form Imago Venues on the site.
National Space Centre
Leicester is also home to the UK’s only venue dedicated to the history of space. The National Space Centre offers events and team building facilities.
