With CHS Leeds taking place in under two weeks’ time (24 May), the organisers have underlined the importance of the destination to the UK meetings and events sector.
For the show, The Royal Armouries will be transformed into an epicentre for events and hospitality.
CHS Leeds will see some of the most recognised event organisers and suppliers convene from across the region, under the backdrop of a city that is growing its connectivity and attraction to large corporates.
City growth
Claire Heap, visitor economy manager said: “Over the last 10 years, the city has established itself as one of the UK’s leading conference destinations. Leeds has undergone a massive transformation. It’s rich with industrial heritage and it’s the second largest financial centre in the UK. Leeds is also renowned for being home to leading medical and healthcare, professional services, and digital and manufacturing sectors.”
Emma Cartmell, CEO and founder, CHS Events, added: “We are delighted that Conference Leeds has become Strategic Brand Partner to the show, in our effort to strengthen our conferencing and events commitment to the city.”
“Leeds has been home to CHS for over 12 years, and there has never been a better time for us to have our homecoming here. The growth of businesses and communities is massive. We are keen to make events a crucial part of Leeds’ development story,” she added.
